What a good dog!
On Sunday Mark Freeley captured with his phone the moment his English golden retriever Storm became a hero, swimming out into the Long Island Sound to rescue a fawn.
The baby deer had apparently run out too far in to the water and couldn’t swim back to shore — but when Storm saw the animal in trouble, he swam out, grabbed him by the scruff of the neck, and pulled him in.
See the rescue and get the whole story (above)!
BTW, the fawn is doing great! Mark uploaded this update to his Facebook on Tuesday morning:
Great job, Storm!
